Interesting and adventurous

Review by Maya

A Sky Full of Song is full of adventure. In the beginning, Shoshanna, the main character, moves from the Russian Empire to North Dakota. In North Dakota she lives on a farm with her family. When she goes to school, she’s not sure if she should show or hide her Jewish identity. I loved this book because Shoshanna perseveres through lots of challenges. If you like historical fiction this is a great book for you!

I really like historical fiction books about immigration. In the begining of the book Shoshana moves to nordakota and misses her home but in the end Shoshana makes friends and is happy in her new home. I can relate to Shoshana because I am different than everyone else at my school and it is hard.
