This book you cannot put down! the author makes you feel like you're in the book. It's very descriptive. She's good about showing the struggles in the story. It's a great graphic novel and I wish it was longer. I feel like she could have gone on longer, but it is very sad. I learned more about what the Germans did to the Jews in France. She had to bounce around between a lot of homes. The ending was the best part!
I like this book it's about a girl named dounia and how she survived the holocaust and the kindness of strangers
I’m nine years old and I really enjoyed this book.
It may be just me, but I loved this book. It made me feel like I was right there with the main character. I had a hint of fear when I was reading this. This book is sitting right down next to me as I’m writing this.
