It was amazing. I kept on reading it and couldn't pull away even when my dad told me it was time to go to sleep.

This book is very good! It get's you motivated to read and you get attached to it on the second chapter!! I totally recommend!! :)

This was a good book. I liked it, but I honestly wished it had more stuff in it. I thought it was a tiny bit short. I also liked how the main character, Lauren, was part Jewish and part Chinese. I thought that made it interesting.

This book is about a girl named Lauren and she is half Jewish and half Chinese. Her best friend is named Tara. Tara and Lauren both try out for a school play audition called Shake It Up. Even though Lauren is obviously better than Tara, Tara gets the lead role because she looks more like the main character in the all-American play. A mean teacher named Mrs. Tyndall doesn’t like Lauren and gives her bad feedback because she is half Chinese and half Jewish. I really like this book because there was acting, singing and comedy in it.
