I love it because it gives you the chance to feel the emotions of the characters. this book is about a girl named Lauren who when she gets separated from her best friend .she and her bff(Tara)try out for the school play to be together.they both get parts .but when Lauren finds out that the reason why she didn’t get the main part was because she didn’t look like the all America girl like the girl in the play she feels defeated.can she recover from the feeling with her arguing grandmothers and a mother who wants to go to law school?find out in not your all American girl

I ❤️ how this book shows even though you may not look the part, you still could be the part. It shows how much impact friendship makes in your life. I wish that I could jump into this book and be Mrs Tyndall and let Lauren get the part! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!!

This book is 5 stars because the main message is that it’s ok to be different. This book emphasizes that it’s ok to take pride in who you are and where you come from.
