I like how the book is made of letters as the chapters, and how determined the main character was on getting the rest of her family to Cuba.

This book is really cool because it has a lot about a tropical island called Cuba, which seemed to be an amazing place. I want to check out the tropical fruits like sugar cane, pineapple and mango. I liked that it was written as letters because every letter was a different chapter and it made it easy to identify time and place. I recommend this book to anyone who likes travel stories, but I have to warn you, it is a little bit sad.

I didn't really like this book. It was really boring and I didn't even get to finish it. I would rate it a 3 and a half.

This was my favorite pj our way book no question about it! I love how it was happy even though it was a rough time for the Jewish people. I also love how its written in letters. :)
