I liked this book, it was a true story about Natan Sharansky. He was persistant and fought for the chance to immigrate to Israel. Based on his success, many Soviet Bloc Jews were then able to make aliyah too! He was brave, determined, and didn't stop even when told "NO!" Many Jews owe their freedom to his hard work! Thank you Natan! You are a mensch!
I usually don't lean towards choosing biographies, but I do love graphic novels, and I really enjoyed this one. It's pretty heartbreaking seeing everything Natan has gone through, but I'm glad the world rallied around his cause and ultimately freed him. We need more solidarity like this these days. My only critique is that I wish the book was longer. I was able to finish it in one sitting.
Natan Sharansky: Freedom Fighter for Soviet Jews was sad book. I did like though. I'm glad that he finally got out of jail.
intence ,moving ,great. 👍
