This book is now one of my faves. It's about a girl who's parents work at a funeral home. One day, a boy named Oren becomes a client, because BOTH his parents die in a car crash. He's not speaking either. I read this book probably three times since I got it, and I loved it every time. I wish Oren was a real person, because he is so nice and funny!
This book is so good! I could barely stop reading it. You have to read this book!
This was a sweet book about Evie, the funeral directors' daughter, who talks too much when she gets nervous, and Oren, whose parents died in a car accident and who has stopped talking since then. This combination sounds like a disaster, and at first it is, but then the two end up helping each other and becoming friends, even though Evie swore never to have a friend again (I won't spoil it by saying why).
This was an amazing read. I was really satisfied with this book and wanted to read it over and over again. It is a great mixture of sorrow and friendship. Honestly, I got a little teary eyed when I was reading this book. I definitely recommend this book for 10+.
Amazing book! I enjoyed it very very much. I thought it was one of the best books I've read honestly. I'm curious as to how the story would be told from the perspective of other characters.
