This book tells the story of the Goldberg family from the point of view of their youngest daughter, Ariel. As a Jewish family, they are torn apart when their oldest daughter marries a man from India. The book follows Ariel as she tries to navigate her new world and find her own place in the changing times.
meh
I liked the story, but they could add a little more details to make it more interesting then it already is. Good, but could be better.
i read the first 2 chapters and HATED it. its written in the third perspective, so it says things like "you walk over" instead of "i walk over" or "they walk over". not at all good because its all about a secret boyfriend her sister has and its not at all detailed. definitely not a good choice for advanced readers like me. its boring and no description. to understand what i mean, preview the first chapter. MY ADVISE: DO NOT CHOOSE THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU LIKE QUICK AND BORING READS.
This book was an amazing page turner that I would definitely recommend.
