I liked the book because it talks a lot about how Melvin was different and how he was different in a way that he thought was bad because he had a stutter and people made fun of him for this difference. The book shows how when Melvin really tried to do what he wanted to do even though he had the stutter he figured out that he could still do it just fine with the stutter. But it is not 5 stars because I did not like how much he was made fun of because a lot of people were really mean to him. When people were mean to his friend that was when he finally stood up to the bully.

I loved this book!

What I liked the most about this book was the friendship between Lenny and Melvin. Lenny was super outgoing and friendly and I enjoyed his character. It's a good story about overcoming real obstacles and true friendship.

I like Mighty Inside, although I felt the story line was kind of all over the place and hard to follow. The ending was very resolving and nice, and I enjoyed that part. I think anyone who struggles with insecurity would benefit from reading this book.
