This was a really great book i loved the way its written. if you like wondering what will happen next you will love this book.

I think that "Things that Shimmer" is a REALLY good book because of the way it's set up. Melanie (the main character) wants to be apart of the most popular group of girls in her whole grade. The groups called... The Shimmers. Melanie is best friends with a girl named Vicky, and their both FINALLY starting to really know The Shimmers. Thats when Dorit comes along. She is cool and doesn't care about any popular stuff. Melanie and Dorit start to become friends, but Vicky gets jealous and says Dorit isn't cool. Melanie REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY A THOUSAND TIMES REALLY wants to be apart of The Shimmers, but also wants to keep Dorit as a friend. Then, when things are all complicated, a war in Israel starts!! (Dorit lived all over the place, but first lived in Israel.) This is a really great book for anyone who likes friend/family drama, and who enjoy the true meaning of friendship!!!

This book was pretty good, I like it.

It was good but it wasn't anything special. Good if you like drama.

I love this cause of friendship drama and I like stuff like that :)
