gay panic very good I can relate

I really enjoyed it. As an LGBTQ+ person it was easy to relate to, and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Just Shy of Ordinary is a book about a nobinary and gender fluid kid named Shai dealing with anxiety. They've decided to start public school as part of their "new normal", a plan that is supposed to help with the anxiety. But now, Shai has to deal with coming out to some new friends who think that they're a girl. Will the two friends still be friends if they know Shai''s true identity? Also, Shai's growing apart from their forever best friend and trying to learn more about their Jewish heritage. I really reccomend this book. Also, if you like this book, I REALLY reccomend another book by this author: Ellen outside the Lines

I loved the main character they were very creative.

this book is about a nonbinary kid named Shai who goes to a new school. makes friends (and a crush!) and also is jewish. they have some problems that get mostly solved.I do wish there was a dance scene, but it's still a good book! (also the book Camp Quiltbag is also REALLY good, if you enjoy this book!) ^^
