Max and the House of Spies was very interesting. I couldn't put it down. I loved the fact that it was a mix between historical fiction and fantasy. I liked the humor and character development, and really enjoyed getting to know them.

Not to give any spoilers but this book was so entertaining, Max as definitely one interesting kids. This story is funny and sad at the same time. This is a book I would recommend!

This book lacked on action and dark world war two aspects, but the next book was way better so I'm glad I read this one.

So good, it teaches you all about world war 2
