Well written and interesting.
An amazing book about how a boy who figures out he is Jewish and when he grows up he tries to escape the Soviet Union and eventually succeeds after being captured and sentenced to years in prison. He meets Natan Sharansky and a lot of other friends Highly recommended if you enjoy reading about refuseniks and people who fight for their rights to be free and practice their Judaism freely.
This really illustrates what was happening to the Jews in Russia at the time. I admire him for sticking to his guns and not letting them get the better of him!! He is a real hero!!
I think that this book was a very amazing book. It was so interesting to learn about where my parents come from! If you like reading books about world war ||, the Soviet Union, and historical non-fiction, or biographies, this book is for you!
Love the book. Especially the way it was written.
