It was a beautiful book that took place in four different places in time but in one jewish family. I couldn’t put it down until I finished reading it.
I loved this book, and wasn’t able to put it down until I finished reading it.
The book was so interesting it had so much depth to it there was some more sad parts but overall it was a good book and it really showed me how the Jews were treated so I just want to say thank you for the book ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
I really like the way this book is written. The thing I like about it is that there are different people’s perspectives. I can’t put it down once I pick it up!
This might actually be the best book I have ever read. It starts with a girl named Benvenida, who is forced to leave her home in Spain when King Fernando and Queen Isabella tell all of the jews to leave Spain, or be burned at the stake, or convert to Christianity. Then it goes to Reina a girl living in turkey who gets disowned by her father after an act of dishonesty and is sent to Cuba. Then it goes to Alegra who is Reina's daughter in Cuba who is in the middle of the rein of Fidel Castro. And Alegra goes to Miami with her parents. Last there's Alegra's daughter Paloma, who goes on a trip to Spain with her mom (Alegra), her dad, and her grandma (Reina) to learn about their sephardic history. This is a really good book and I strongly recommend it.
