Her childhood is sad happy exiting and good you guys have to read it.
The story sadness is like the hook on string catching the fish, but instead makes you need to read the rest. The suprise at the end is tears of joy and cries wishing they could've met again. All of these girls are deeply rooted to their Sephardic traditions.
This is an amazing book that taught me a lot about history and Jewish immigrants. The interconnections between the different perspectives really hooked me on the story. The issues that the girls face are quite diverse, but also have much in common. Overall, this is a great read!!!
Across So Many Seas was a deeply inspiring, poetic book which hooked me in to the story immediately. I also loved how the author described what it was like as society changed around the main characters through the book. A truly incredible read!
Across so many seas was so good! I loved learning about all the different generations and how they were all connected.
