This was a well written book, and it had an important message, but it was not very funny. I could tell where the jokes were, but I think they would be a bit more funny to me if I was a bit younger. I did like the message of the book, but I would recommend this book to younger kids.

this is a great book. it reminds me of my dog that was so sick, he had to be put to sleep. i miss him, and when i read this book, it brought back memories. but i do have my dog ashes to remember him.
