This book was amazing. Me being me, I had never, and I mean NEVER, read a graphic novel before. But, this was pretty awesome. If you were considering getting this book, you should!

When I got Lily Renée Escape Artist I thought it would just be a plain regular jewish book. But when I read it things changed, A LOT! This book is fun and very exciting. One of the reasons I loved this book is because it is a graphic novel and graphic novels are one of my favorite kinds of books. Even if you do not like graphic novels you will love this book! The book starts out with an ordinary life of a girl but then things change for her and she has to move because the Nazis are attacking her home town and she has to go somewhere else to be safe. She is not happy to leave because her parents can't come with her and she really misses them. I loved this book since I am Jewish and it told me more about things that happened during the holocaust and it was a beautiful story.

best book ever

This book was okay, but it was fairly easy and a quick read. It was nonfiction and it was a graphic novel but it was also informational, not like a total story. I would recommend this book to people who want to learn something through a funish way.
