Somehow, being a graphic novel made this book more understandable, because I could see the Nazi oppression. You must read! MUST! I did not like Mrs. Kealy. So mean. I'm glad Lily left.

Really scary to read how Jewish families were treated during those times. It was much easier to read in a comic strip form. Great illustrations!

I liked learning about the history of what Jewish kids and families had to go through. They were very scary times!
