I read this book in two days! I am glad I chose this book out of all the others. People who risk their lives to save others, win a war, and a cat that saved two people! It is amazing to see how animals and people can save someone's life or more. Thank you for the book, pjourway.

This book was so amazing! You have to read it!

This was a good, informative, interesting book that showed the Six-Day War from the perspective of a character that experienced the war as it happened, as well as reminding us that many people died in he war. I think that the author did a good job portraying a young Israeli child eager to be a hero, and fit in other characters that form unlikely bonds. I think that it is also good that the author didn't quite mince the main character's sibling's death, thus showing us that not everything was all fun and games.
