I cannot tell you in words, actions or pictures how incredibly amazingly touching and amazing this book is! Ruth Behar tells a true story of when she broke her leg in a car crash at a young age. Ruti has to stay in bed for over a year in a body cast, and is miserable most of the time. Despite her miserableness (I'm not sure that's a word but I don't care anyway) , Ruti stays grateful that she didn't die and that her condition wasn't any worse (although it was pretty lousy). In the same car crash, the woman in the car in front of Ruti was tangled up in metal, and might have been paralyzed for life. Ruti wonders if she will ever walk again. This book is...well, I am completely...#lost4words!!!!!
everyone should read this book I read it and I want to read it again
It's sad but it's awesome that it really reminds me of my surgeries
It was sad and happy it made me feel a lot of different ways. I read it a few times and I kept finding little details that made it a lot better to read. The friends are a very important part of this amazing story and family too.
