I thought this was an interesting story, to hear about the life of someone who came and ended up in an unlikely place. I love reading about the pioneers and cowboys. And I love reading about our heritage. This was the perfect blend.
It was not very entertaining.
Ever heard of a Jewish cowboy? This fast-moving, lively book introduces you to one, along with the immigration program that helped him and other Eastern European Jews to escape pogroms, come to the U.S., and work on farms. Tag along on a cattle drive as Meyer ben Yehezkiel becomes Mike Benson, cowpoke!
I would not recommend this book for girls
I really liked the part where he became a 🤠 Cowboy. But i did not like the intro
