I liked this book. It showed me how sensitive some people are. And how confusing the road of private adoption can be for the child.

this book has really great themes, and I liked how it was told through the eyes of two people at two very different times with two very different problems and lives. I also liked how it had diversity.

This book is my favourite book ever! I love Anna and Max and Hannah and Imani and their adventures! Historical fiction has never been better! Awesome book!
