The Secret of Carlos Romanus is a great book. Moshe is a fifteen year old boy who lived in Amsterdam with two siblings and his mom. His dad is gone and the family is not making any money because of it. Moshe goes on his first business trip to Africa to sell cork. The ship splits and he is the only survivor. He is shipwrecked on the coast of Spain where Jews are not allowed. It’s Passover and he is looking for a hidden jew. Will he find one? Read and find out.

I liked this book a lot! It was pretty quick, but there were some serious parts. I was a little disappointed that he turns out to be so old at the end. ☹️ It was good though 😛 you should read it!
