This is a mystery filled with art, history, art history (ha), holocaust survivors, and amazing and unique characters. This is the story of a girl who is trying to solve a mystery of painting hidden in front of her eyes, while trying to balance the weights of her fathers death, her absent minded and tea obsessed mother, and the slowly spent money which she is running out of. The mysterious answer she finally comes to is surprising and meaningful. This is a book you can't pass up!

A great mystery book for mystery lovers

I would really suggest this book. I think that the book was a nice mystery but it was also an informational book as well because it talked about the Holocaust a little bit. I've been learning some things about the Holocaust through this book. I would highly suggest it and i'm glad that I ordered it!

I really liked this book. I think that it is really good, with a wonderful plot and characters. I would say, however, that there is a lot of reference to old art and artists that was a bit confusing. The main character is not Jewish, but there are some references to the Holocaust. I am writing this review a while after I read the book, so I cannot really be specific about things, but the book is really good and very interesting. Towards the end it was a bit more complicated then I could completely wrap my head around, but the story is very good and In the end, I totally recommend it.
