Rabbi harvey

Review by aricat

Rabbi Harvey is probably one of the best books i have ever read. If I had to say one person who could relate to him... me! He makes jokes out of problems. So do I! He gives advice. So does me!

Could not put it down

Review by super._hannah

When he comes to Elk Spring and becomes the rabbi of this small town, Rabbi Harvey fights crime only using knowledge! People come to him when they have all sorts of trouble, like who stole Bad Bubbe's money. In this funny book you find out that scissors can have babies!

Book Review by Nate, age 10, MA Harvey is a Rabbi in the small town of Elk Springs, Colorado in the 1870s. He is part sheriff, part rabbi. He helps others repent for their mistakes (mistakes being a way of describing law-breaking)and spreads his wisdom throughout the Wild West. He also settles disputes over 20 dollar bills, rather like King Solomon settled disputes over babies.

Reviewed by Naomi age 8, CO Rabbi Harvey Rides Again had an odd start for me. The first thing you learn about in this book, of all things, is a loaf of bread!! This is a comic book like story which was kind of fun. As the book went on, the story began to draw me in. Two people in the book actually thought that scissors had babies and that guns died. Rabbi Harvey was funny in that he gives lots of advice though it isn’t always the best advice. Because of this, the people in the book needed to learn for themselves how to solve problems.
