This book is pretty boring at the beginning, but then in the middle you feel like it is actually going somewhere. I did not like this book very much. I felt like there were some parts that were supposed to be really suspenseful, but they actually weren't. Another reason that I did not like this book is because I am not very into sports, but I read it because I had read other books about sports like Understanding Buddy and it was okay. I did not finish this book, and I did not find the part that I read sad at all.

This book had many twists and turns. Fig was an amazing athlete but was going through hard times at home. This story made me want to read more by Tim Tibbitts. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a mix of sadness and adventure.
