A nice story during World War Two in Canada about what is really important in life, family, peace, caring for others. I would have liked it to be more detailed and to have an answer to some of the story lines. Like (spoilers alert !!!) what happened to Isaac's mother, why did she behave the way she did, was Issac accepted to medical school. Over all it's a really nice and quick reading.

Awesome!! I loved it. A little on the simple side in terms of the way it was written but the plot was quite intriguing.
