i liked that there was so many events happening at once.
Adina and her siblings were very interesting characters.
This book is about a family with nine kids. Their story takes place in the 1920s. One day, their father tells them that, Adina, the oldest daughter, is going to get married to a man she never met before. This book teaches a lot about Jews a long time ago. I would recommend this book to ages 7-12.
Nice book
"The Family with Two Front Doors" is a very enjoyable book! It shows how Jewish law was many years ago. The author, Anna Ciddor, wrote about a girl named Nomi who has 9 people in her family including Miriam, Devorah, Esther, and Adina. Adina is 15 years old and is getting married to someone she has never met! The book is narrated by Nomi, one of the youngest of the sisters. "The Family with Two Front Doors" is a fantastic book, but I would suggest it to older age groups because of some of the concepts included. From 1 to 5, I would give it a 5 for it is a book everyone would enjoy and read over and over again. By Alma, National Design Team
