This book had a lot of things going on in it. The cursed house, Roxanne's Ema left,and that Liat's mother died. It was so emotional I don't even know how many feelings I felt! #MUST READ!! :)

This book makes you think really deeply. I love that it is set in the 80's - my mom was talking about the "wings" that everyone did to their hair. The title really suits the book and I think mature 9-12 year olds will like this book.

I just finished reading The Importance of Wings and I totally thought it was amazing! I would definitely recommend it to you. P.S. Finished it in 1 day!

just like the title this book is magical

I read this book and I loved it! The book takes place in the eighties, which makes it much more old school and interesting. It takes place outside of New York City. I rate this book 8/10. I gave it this because most of the book has many details, but in some spots it has just a few too many details. I think that people between the ages of 10-11 will like this book because it is a little too mature for kids younger that this. If you like horror stories, Israeli stories, drama, or old-school books, than this is the book for you. by Aidan, age 12, Massachusetts
