Hi, I'm Mila, a PJ Our Way Design Team member. This was a book I chose and I rate it a five out of five. Why? Danny, the main character, lives with his mom, dad, and older brother. Since their family is poor, they could only afford a two-bedroom in New York City. His parents got the big bedroom, and his older brother Jake took the other bedroom. But where does Danny sleep? In a closet. His parents do make a promise though. Jake, who will be going to college soon, will move out to a dorm there so, Danny will move in! Then, something you wouldn't expect happens. Danny's parents say that they'll be using Jake's old room as a rented room for customers. When creepy things start happening, like words on a foggy mirror, guests going crazy, or even a ghost in the window, Danny starts to worry something or someone is haunting his apartment. I LOVE it! Read the book to find out what happens next!

Great book! I I love mystery books so I think this would be a perfect book for someone who loves mystery books.(Spoiler Alert!) I love how the girl who was staying got possessed.

I didn't love this book. It was a little bit boring and anticlimactic. I personally wouldn't reccomend it, but someone else may enjoy it.

The book was a great mix of ghost story and fictional stories of immigrants that came to the United States. It was also a great ghost story, put in an unusual setting, a brooklyn brownstone. The author also found ways to incorporate mythological tales into the story. Overall, a really good book
