At first I thought that I wouldn't like this book. I was SO WRONG!!! This book was really heartwarming. The recipes in the back of the book were very cool. The thought of a kid starting a cooking business and changing a whole town with it was a great idea to me, so I read the second one too! The sequel is called The Doughnut King (I highly recommend it too). This book was great!!!

This was one of my favorite books. I love the idea of a kid who finds a recipe and changes the city because of it. If you really liked this book you should read the 2nd book in this series- The Doughnut King. This was a really good book and I love creamed filled doughnuts.

I loved this book! It was so amazing with the adventures of Tristan and is so fun to follow along. It makes me want doughnuts! I love the story and the recipes at the end of the book. I tried a few myself and they taste as good as the book explained! I recommend this book for people who love to read, cook, and love adventures!
