This book was ok and I gave this book a 4-star rating because there were parts where the book was sad and also forbidden. You cannot be upset to be a Jew ....

It’s a good book because it teaches a lesson and the lesson is to be proud to be a Jew. I get this book because it is a good book for showing your Jewish identity. And my favorite part was when Marla first found out that she could have a sleep over with Marla

This is an awesome book, and I like it because it's about Hanukkah. I would recommend you check it out if you would like to read it. There are 2 girls, named Marla and Lucy, and they are bff's because when Marla moved there, she met Lucy and then they were really good friends. The illustrations were good, I liked the pictures. I like that the girls have 4 sleepovers, and they decorate a tree with Barbie clothes and shoes.
