This book is about a girl named Abby. When she's sent to summer school, she's sure she's going to have the worst summer ever. However, her newfound friends and cool teacher make her realize her summer might turn around after all.

Twelve-year-old Abby has ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). She loves acting and “will do anything for funny,” she says. When Abby flunks English class and makes the biggest mistake of her life she gets sent off to summer school. She thinks it will be awful, but will she be mistaken? This is a hilarious book that has a lot of life lessons but has a creative and funny way of showing them. This is a book that lots of kids can relate to. I would recommend it for kids ages 8-11 but really anyone can enjoy it. By Cayla, National Design Team
