Although I liked this book, there was just so much going on that there may have been a bit TOO much. First there was the fish, then Layele, then the mysterious package that never came...All in all a good book, just a bit too much character-wise for the casual reader.

I think this book was really good and I could feel the characters emotions and I had many OH! AH! Please save her moments. It was easy to follow and it felt like I was watching a movie! They should make this into a movie! Also, I love Mirkas character ! Anyway, GREAT BOOK!

Interesting, Adventurous, yet kind of confusing! It also had really deep concept of being jewish not like in "How to Survive Middle School".

This is a very scary book about witches, trolls, giant fish that swallows heads and creepy birds who think of dead fish. I would not read this book if I were you. It gives kids and dogs if you read to your dog nightmares. If you want to get this book you better think twice.

It was a horrible scary book I had to stop reading it was so scary don't bother reading this horrid book plus kids could easily be scared and get nightmares don't read this book
