I liked this book.

This book made me think more about the importance of family.

This story is very emotional and I nearly cried at some parts of the story. Quake! is a good story and makes you understands the true power of earthquakes. There is one part of the story that makes me shudder, it was when a deer got crushed. Overall, it shows that after an earthquake, everybody is the same.

I loved this book!

This book is one of my favorite books!!! I loved the earthquake theme and the suspense of Jacob finding his family. He doesn't know if they are dead. He has a dog who he named Quake after he found a Chinese boy named San in rubble that soon became Jacob's best friend. You should definitely read this book.

A book that quakes into your heart!

Thumbs up!

This book made me think more about the importance of family.

When I started to read this book it wasn’t the best that it could be, but just like in an earthquake, the first things are just small tastes of what is coming. Then the Quake comes, which is the real biz. You cannot pull your eyes from it and you can’t run from it, you can only learn and feel really sad while you see one of the biggest earthquake events in history crack open you mind from the perspective of a Jew.

Captured my sons attention

From Isaac in MA
Quake is about a young Jewish boy named Jacob who is caught right in the middle of the San Francisco earthquake of 1906 and makes some unexpected friends. All of this was caused by taking in a stray dog the day before the earthquake and this dog helps Jacob make those friends.
Jacob’s escapades around the city include: getting food, searching for survivors, and above all looking for his family.

I recommend this book to people who are looking to try new things out.
