Parents, encourage your child to apply for the PJ Our Way National Design Team!

What is the PJ Our Way National Design Team?

In keeping with PJ Our Way’s goal to empower kids and showcase their creative work, all PJ Our Way members are eligible to apply to be a part of the National Design Team. Every year, the National Design Team develops most of the content viewed on the PJ Our Way website. Hundreds of videos, reviews, blogs, and author interviews have been produced by National Design Team members.

How does it work?

Members of PJ Our Way may apply to be part of the National Design Team. The National Design Team has early access to PJ Our Way books and creates videos, reviews, polls, quizzes, and blogs for the website. The team meets monthly via video conference with PJ Our Way Design Team Director, Jamie Light, and will also be supported by Teen Leader, Eitan Amster (Design Team 2016-17).

National Design Team members gain writing, design, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills. They participate in team-building workshops, form friendships with peers from all over the country, and develop quality content in a safe and fun environment.

Who is eligible?

National Design Team participants must be PJ Our Way members residing in the United States. The 2018-19 Design Team will consist of 12 PJ Our Way members chosen by application reviewed by the PJ Our Way team.

We loved witnessing our daughter’s confidence and independence grow as she participated on the PJOW Design Team. Her enthusiasm for each of her monthly assignments was a joy to watch. We saw her develop skills in writing book reviews, iMovie creation, and in video conference communication. This opportunity for Cayla was truly an honor for our entire family. The PJOW books often connected to our own unique Jewish experiences and family traditions.
