Just A Girl by Lia Levi

Review by orcaintheocean

It was a good book, and exciting to read but also a little sad because there were a lot of horrible things that happened during WWII. She must have been very scared in some parts. I thought it must have been hard to go through some of those things, like saying bye to your mama. I know how she felt. I liked the happy parts, especially the one where everybody sings “Mussolini’ s gone”. The pictures in the back of the book show how everybody really looked. I like that. The book tells you to persist through hard times and that you are ok the way you are.
