Max is back in Germany, but this time her has two missions. One has been given to him by his British spymasters: infiltrating the Haus Des Rundfunks, German radio central and the source of most of their propaganda. The other they had forbidden: finding his parents, whom Max hasn’t seen since he was sent away to England to protect him from the war. Max is going to need all the help he can get. I loved this book. It’s a suspenseful and gripping story that is also funny in parts. This book is great for mystery lovers, but also for people who like Historical Fiction. It is a great read.

I am reviewing Max in the Land of Lies, it is a very good book that I would rate 5 stars. This book is about Max who is on a mission. Well, two missions. On has been assigned by his British spymasters: Infiltrate the Funkhaus, the center of Nazi radio and propaganda. The other they have forbidden: Find his parents. Max will need every tool at his disposal, from his radio expertise and spy training to the help of Berg and Stein, the immortal creatures living on his shoulders. Even so, there’s no guarantee he’ll make it out alive. If you want to find out more read Max in the Land of Lies, a very interesting and invigorating book.
