Mort Ziff is Not Dead

it is a very funny book

funny, ridiculous book. I've read it 2 times its so good!

it had lots of suspense and humor and a bunch of other things in it, all while pulling you in!

A lot of good things are packed into this small book. Norman is the always picked on younger brother, called "Wormy" by his obnoxious older brothers. When he unexpectedly wins a $1,000 prize, he spends it on a vacation to Florida with his family and meets Amy, the always picked on younger sister with two equally annoying older sisters. When they discover that Mort Ziff, an aging comedian called "The Unofficial Mayor of Miami Beach," has just lost his job and home at the hotel where they're staying, they join forces to get him hired back. Along the way, Mort and Amy find their voices with not just the hotel's reclusive owner on behalf of Mort but also with their own pesky older siblings. Oh, and Mort Ziff has an adorable, friendly little dog named Napoleon. Super cute!

Mort Ziff Is Not Dead is a great read. It’s about a boy named Norman Fishbein who wins 1,000 and decides to go on vacation with his parents and two older brothers. Mort Ziff is an old fashioned comedian who performs at the hotel. This book takes place in the 1960s, Miami Beach. It is very well written but simple and very original but believable. It’s a good book and it’s not too long, so it’s not too much trouble to read it all. I recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
