“I’m Talia Schumacher, the One and Only…” You'd think it would be nice and quiet without siblings, but lately Talia feels like she's living in a hotel. Talia keeps wondering, "Who is this mysterious guest that acts like she lives here? And why do I have to go along with all this?"

Being an only child can be tough

Review by Danya

One Is Not a Lonely Number is a fiction book about a thirteen year old girl named Talia Schumacher. Talia is an only child. You might think that it is fun being an only child. You can get more attention from your parents, have more time to spend with them, have a quiet house, and not have to babysit your baby sibling. You do not have to share a room EVER, and even have more privacy. But for Talia it's totally not like that. Instead of siblings, her parents invite guests to the house and Talia is getting sick and tired of that. If you like stories that sound real you should read this book.

Sometimes being an only child is okay 👍🏻

Review by Rosa2013

I have a 15 year old brother, and honestly, being the younger sibling is annoying, and being a single child would be better. (But that's just my opinion) 😉
