I liked this book. It was really easy to read. The dog in the story was cute and he understood what people were saying. The book reminded me of Amelia Bedelia. I liked that it included Jewish holidays. There was nothing about the story that I didn't like.

Book Club Review!

Review by NationalDesignTeam

Mitzvah the Mutt was chosen as the 2nd-4th grade book club book at a Minnesota synagogue, and we had a great time talking about the book as well as playing games centered around the book's themes. Collectively, the book club kids wrote this review: If you like dogs and Jewish holidays and funny books, this book is for you. Mitzvah the dog tells the story and it’s fun because you read what Mitzvah thinks and does. Mitzvah is so funny, especially when he thinks the matzah balls are tennis balls!

It was a cute book, easy to read. The main character is very lovable! It was a little childish, and I probably won't read it again, but it is still a good choose! The least I would give it is 3 1/2 stars, and the most is 4.
