The Kindness Club: Chloe on the Bright Side

Video review by Lael

I liked the book that Chloe had trouble between two clubs and Chloe chose to join one club. Also, I learned a new word SERTOI- something... I am unsure how to spell, ha. I read this book every night. I would give this good book 4 stars for the review.

So good and true!!! I wish I could be a character in this book just so I could know Chloe!!!! My fav part is when even though Lucy wants Chloe to be her friend she still is supportive of Chloe wanting to be an IT GIRL. Also this book helps me remember to 1. Look on the bright side of everything and 2. That everyone is going through stuff and to try to be more understanding even if they’re the meanest kid you know. This won’t let u down.

Awesome book!

Review by KindnessGirl

I loved this book! It’s kinda relatable if you’re the age where kids are choosing ‘groups’. Chloe’s super kind, and she teaches a valuable lesson: Always be kind, even when it’s hard or people aren’t being kind to you. I recommend it. (Also, Monroe was only nice to Chloe because she was “popular at her old school”.)

The Kindness Club: OK

Review by SweetN1

I think this book was great but I think Chloe should have realized that Monroe Racheal and Anjali were not the right friends for her in the first place. My favorite characters are Chloe and Theo. I also think that Monroe is kind of mean. Wait no a LOT mean. In my opinion this book is OK.

Chloe on the bright side

Review by Unicorn_Sparkle

I think that this book is a great book for kids who like drama and nice endings. It would help kids realize that life is just a big decision- and its great to choose kindness over popularity (but Monroe WAS kinda cool)
