This book was amazing! It taught life lessons, was engaging, and had the perfect ending about Maya figuring out how to overcome her challenges: OCD and GAD. This teaches everyone to be brave, push to overcome challenges, and be flexible. Even though Maya’s family didn’t understand what she was going through at first, she kept trying to get them to understand. When I started reading this book I couldn’t stop! Maya is inspiring to so many people who are going through the same things as her, along with those who aren’t. She teaches people to overcome struggles even when it seems impossible, and find the light through these struggles. Maya helps us understand that weakness makes us stronger. I give a 5-star review for this inspiring novel!

I like that the daughter wanted to be like the father, a comedian. I liked that they spent a lot of time practicing. - Nathan, PJ Our Way Advisory Committee Member
